Student Support

Scholarship and loan programs open the doors of opportunity for students who would not otherwise be able to afford a quality legal education, as well as for high achieving students whose contributions to Southwestern's Moot Court, Negotiation and Trial Advocacy Honors Programs, Law Review, Law Journal and community outreach efforts would not be possible without such financial support.

Scholarships are essential to Southwestern’s ability to compete with other law schools to recruit a diverse and talented entering class each year and to reward and retain the most dedicated and promising students as they progress through their studies. Many students begin their legal education with significant undergraduate indebtedness, and continuing financial hardship can impact their choice of school and eventually limit their opportunity to pursue public service careers. With the cost of education increasing, financial assistance now more than ever is crucial to enable many deserving students to attend Southwestern.

Assisting Students

Your considerate support of Southwestern’s scholarship funds will help make it possible for the law school to provide financial assistance to students in need and attract exceptional applicants who will successfully complete their legal education at Southwestern and go on to contribute to the profession and the greater community.
